Chicago, Illinois - Eric M. Scharf has accepted a two-week consulting agreement with Game Production Services (of Albuquerque, New Mexico).
 
Eric will be providing on-site assistance with the development of Location-Based Immersive Virtual Experience (LIVE) training simulationssuch as the Infantry Immersive Trainer (IIT), Improved Moving Target Simulator (IMTS), and Joint Fires & Effects Trainer System (JFETS), for the U.S. Department of Defense.

Gainesville, Florida - Eric M. Scharf has created a second blog called "The Tortured Cowboys Fan (TTCF)"in order to share his thoughts on the subject of sports, particularly his favorite professional football team.
 
While a different subject than entertainment software development, football (regardless of your favorite team) is one of those rare topics that can bring many people together, from varied backgrounds and interests, creating camaraderie that lasts well after the work day ends. Gainesville, Florida - Eric M. Scharf has agreed to become a creative consultant for eHuman, Inc.
 
Eric will be consulting on and participating in the creation of GUI enhancements to eHuman anatomy Atlas libraries as well as providing further support on serious game concepts derived from those libraries.
 
This venture reunites Eric with another old friend and CalArts colleague, Matthew Haselwho is also the eHuman Program Manager.
